Check Aadhaar Card Status by Name

Status of card is required for every registered member, I’m writing how to check the status by name. it is basic thing to have an Aadhaar card. As you know Aadhaar Card is one of the most crucial documents that must have to acquire.

As per the Unique Identification Authority of India “UIDAI”guidelines, it can take about 3 months (90 days) to receive Aadhaar card after you enroll or register at Aadhaar card center.

If you have lost your Aadhaar card Enrolment ID and don’t know your Aadhaar number, you can get the Aadhaar card by following these steps below:

  1. Go to https://resident.uidai.gov.in/find-uid-eid
  2. Select appropriate option, “Aadhaar No (UID)” OR “Enrolment No (EID)”, under “You want to receive your lost:”
  3. Enter your full name
  4. Enter your email address
  5. Enter your registered Mobile Number
  6. Enter the security code as displayed and click on “Get OTP” button
  7. One Time Password (OTP) will be delivered to your mobile and/or email address
  8. In the box below, enter the OTP you just received on your mobile and/or email address
  9. Click on “Verify OTP”
  10. Now you will receive a message on your mobile with your Aadhaar card number or Enrollment Id as you selected in Step 2 above

Now, you have your enrolment number or aadhaar number you can check your aadhaar status by click on the given link.

  1. If your aadhaar has been generated you can download it here.
  2. Now go to https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
  3. Select appropriate option, “Enrollment Id” OR “Aadhaar”, under “I have:”
  4. Enter your Aadhaar card number or Enrollment Id, full name, Pin Code, security text and mobile number
  5. Click on “Get OTP”
  6. One Time Password (OTP) will be delivered to your mobile and/or email address
  7. Enter the OTP you just received on your mobile in the “Enter OTP” box and click on “Validate and Download”
  8. Now you have downloaded your e-Aadhaar card. Enter your Pin Code as the password when you open the PDF document
  9. You now have your e-Aadhaar card, which you can print out

Aadhaar Card is technically one of the most important documents in India that one should have. Although there are many such personal identification documents are exists but it is most important one.
